Tyrod Taylor Looks Like A Keeper

    After 2 games, T-Mobile has completed 37 out of 49 passes for a 76% completion rate, 437 yards, 4 TD's, 3 picks, and 1 rushing TD.

59 total points scored on offense.

Never a deer in the headlights look.

I like his calm composure and command of the offense. #5 looks like he belongs.

His arm strength is incredible. He has to dial it down a notch though.

I want to see Tyrod Taylor run more, but I also want to see him unload a 70 yard bomb because he's capable of doing it.

Those are good problems to have at quarterback.

I was a big EJ fan and still think he can succeed, but Tyrod has won me over. He has that cool as ice demeanor, doesn't ever panic like a lot of the Bills QBs we've seen over the years. Big arm, above average accuracy, very mobile. I like him a lot.

          Not impressed.

He's Kordell Stewart 2.0 at best, Troy Smith 2.0 at worst.

The 2 INT's against the Cheaters were killers.

Still needs a lot of work. Needs to get rid of the ball faster and not take 8 sacks in 1 game. Many of those were in him.

So far he reminds me of the black Rob Johnson.

Too small. He's a gimmick QB.

                  Eight sacks against New England.

                  EIGHT ****ING SACKS.

He was supposed to be a "magical" sack avoiding machine. Those are Drew Bledsoe numbers.

And Belichick just provided a blueprint for the rest of the league to neutralize him.

The fact that he picked things up late against NE was promising. I want to see how the season progresses before making a judgment, though. Two games isn't nearly enough time to determine what he is or isn't.

T-Mobile will be out of service this week. He'll get injured and be out for the season. And we have to endure watching KneeJ put the Bills season in the toilet.

Good thing we aren't overreacting. If our offense scoring 5 TD's is being neutralized, then please let every team neutralize Taylor. He seemed to get better late in the game, maybe he'll adjust. I personally think we should wait a couple games to see what happens.

the cheater sacks are alarming but its his second nfl start. seems like maybe hes gone a little TOO far trying to stay in the pocket. outside of that hes been very impressive overall. still could go either way but hes shown an awful lot already and should be able to improve his pocket awareness and timing the scramble the more games he plays

i hope he plays all sixteen but in the somewhat likely event he has to miss some time im looking forward to seeing if ejs dramatic success in the preseason means hes really turned the corner or if it was a gary marangi i mean mirage

wehn you are losing by 20-30 and you score 14 points in the 4th quarter because they are playing a defense to bend not break and waste time shouldnt count as big points.

when the game was in the balance he crapped the bed,

'No deer in headlights look'. You have got to be kidding me. Any of the sacks he was responsible for last Sunday, was exactly that.

Now, unlike other QBs who did similar over the last several years, he did at least come out of the funk - albeit too late - and that is a good sign, but tbh, the sort of things that went wrong for him, were exactly the sort of things it wouldn't be impossible to predict.

The current blueprint to beat the Bills, is stack the box, keep contain well on the edges, and wait and see if Taylor will make some passes. If the Bills aren't making enough gains rushing the football, we simply have to go deep regularly, to Watkins or Harvin, because otherwise we will not be able to keep up, against the likes of the Patsies.

Taylor does have a great skill set, but he's got to use it sensibly. There's nothing more ridiculous than seeing a 'mobile' QB run backwards into a sack. I really don't want to see yet another QB learning curve keep going two steps forward (Colts) then one step back.
