    Bills offense gets more Wood

Bills promote RB Wood to active roster

With LeSean McCoy out for Sunday and just two healthy running backs on the roster, the Bills promoted Cierre Wood from the practice squad.

In three preseason games for the Bills, Wood had 17 carries for 64 yards (3.8 avg.) and four catches for 45 yards. He was released during final cuts, but was signed to the team’s practice squad Sept. 6th.

for being like the 6th RB on the roster during those Preseason games, i thought wood looked pretty good. he had been there a week, limited knowledge of playbook and ran to keep sticks moving when the 1's were out there.

I posted in another thread that he looked very good to me in the pre-season games, when Dixon was brought up as the only backup. I knew they would bring him up from the PS. Hit the holes quickly, showed a burst and had some wiggle to make people miss. I think he was a good find for a backup type.

Not a chance. I hate Boobie running the ball too, but Boobie is a leader and a great special teams player. I wouldnt expect Wood to stick long, unless they decide to keep four backs.

Wood could be good for the London game coming up though, heard he always runs hard in the mornings

Something about running wood screams STD

Oh... And... Wood up the middle adds to the innuendo frenzy.

Did he wear #44 during the preseason? If not, that RB left an impression on me and I was hoping we kept him. Who was he?

Guy was totally average against 4th stringers. Why not bring Bryce back?

I am so hoping for a huge game from Karlos today, maybe he can pound the Giants D enough that Wood gets some good touches in relief here and there.
