All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

We have a franchise QB but some of us can't see past ourselves to admit it. Does anyone else realize that for the first time in a long time we all thought we can win because our QB can lead us ?? Didn't this click to everyone this Sunday ??
Last time this happened for me was Jimbo, not a moment since. Taylor has to learn by playing but the guy can play, big time. You guys better get over yourself and enjoy, you may never know when moments of joy will show up. I'm elated.
i am currently cautiously optimistic. im sure people in san fran thought they have their guy in kaepernick for the next 10 years too after the first 10-16 games.
lets be happy hes doing well for now before we CROWN him
We only managed ten points at home against an average opponent.
So after that long quest for a franchise QB, we are getting the same results that we got with JP Losman, Kelly Holcomb and Trent Edwards. Yay!

Settle down. Neither of the ones you just mentioned played anywhere nearly as well as Taylor has in his first 4 starts. Am I ready to anoint him? No, but he looks like the best chance at being a good QB the Bills have had since Bledsoe.

Point is, we've had 4 games with Tayor as a starter: 2 good ones, one bad one, one really bad one. The results are the same mediocrity. So, either he's not the franchise QB or we still don't have the right pieces around him.

Tyrod hasn't had a bad game yet. I don't know what you've been watching.
You'll all be taking tea bagging on his next few wins, he's night and day better than everything we've had since Jimbo. Do you see how he naturally steps out of trouble and protects himself, kinda reminds you of Flacco now doesn't it ? So we have a Flacco prototype with speed and accuracy (70%+ thus far). You guys do remember that I'm not a homer by any stretch right ? Tyrod is a top 10 QB in the league right now, right out of the box.
Prepare.

He looked lost against NE for 3 quarters. Last week he didn't make near enough plays. The only stat that mattered in that game was the scoreboard, 10 points. No where near good enough. That was Trent Edwardsish, he played safe. If you need 4 yards don't throw a 3 yard pass.

Wasn't talking about Tyrod. I was talking about the team as a whole. We were told all this time that QB play was holding this team back. Now we are getting good QB play but still getting the same mediocre results in the W-L department.

Did you notice what happened Sunday when they started calling passing plays that made sense? I hope Roman watches the film and learns that screen passes won't work until you back the corners off. Let Tyrod throw it on 1st down.
I'd also like to see a few more designed runs, but I can also understand not wanting to put Tyrod in harms way unnecessarily either. I thought the play calling Sunday, the first half especially, was ultra conservative.

It's not his fault 2 TDs were called back due to penalties.
