What a joke. How does the NFL come up with a stupid ass figure like that?
What kind of message does that send? Nothing. It's an insult.
A $32,000 fine would seem appropriate, and that money should be donated to a domestic violence charity, but the NFL no longer makes any sense.
Players are going to look at this and say, "I can punch a dude in the face, get away with it on the field and that's all it will cost me off the field?"
I can already hear coaches saying, "Sock him in the face with a good upper cut, I'll pay you're fine."

It is a paltry slap on a limp wrist for something that would land anyone of us in jail for assault in real life.
