I think he means that Denver would be the #3 seed, so they would not get a first-round bye but would host their first playoff game against the #6 playoff seed on Wild Card Weekend.

Since NE had a bye & they're 3-0 & Cin & Den are 4-0, it would be Bills at NE, not Denver. Therefore this whole thread goes down the drain. ESPN is wrong-in what world do they live where a team 1/2 game behind 2 teams is the top seed.

LOL. What would be worse for Bills fans? Answer: had they snuck into the playoffs a time or two over that time. Then they'd have nothing to complain about.
