Got that?

The Sabres certainly don’t have a comfort level on offense. They’re averaging one goal and 26 shots per game while trying to find lines that work. Bylsma has found pairs that he likes, namely Ryan O’Reilly with Tyler Ennis and Jack Eichel with Evander Kane, but the search for trios seems endless. Eichel and Kane had three right wingers in the opener, and they worked with four Saturday with Brian Gionta (lower body) again absent.
Here's what I would do after the first couple of games....
Line #1 Evander Kane - Samson Reinhart - Jack Eichel
if you're going to keep Samson on the big club, give him the damn big minutes. If not... don't waste a year and ship him to Rochester. That being said... let the speed, size, and power of Kane and Eichel run wild down the wings and allow Samson and his creativity distribute until his heart's content. I would bet you would see special things from this line.
Line # 2 Moulson - ROR - Ennis
Grind boys grind. Grind every shift, every period, every game... all season long. Puck possession and the timely goal. The goal for them should be to shut down the opposing team's number one and finish on the right side of the +/- every single game. Grind - grind - grind.
Line #3 Girgensons - Larson - Foligno
Pound - Pound - Pound! I'd play dump and chase with this line every single time they touch the ice and have the opportunity. Their job is simple... tilt the ice for Line #1. Get it in deep... get a change... or get an offensive zone face-off.
Line #4 Deslauriers - Legwand - McGinn
Outside of Dealauriers... what a sh1t show this line is. Make trades... claim waivers... Search high and low for other solutions and just realize you're goal is to minimize the damage they cause.
Overall, no problem whatsoever with the top 3 lines and their NHL capabilities... outside of Reinahrt playing the top line pivot, but in this scenario, you're giving him two dominant wingers to balance things out. If he's the prospect he's supposed to be... coach him hard and ride him and this line to be what they are supposed to be.
