All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
The Bills are flying out to London TONIGHT, right after the Bengals game. The same day.
I tried to stress this before, but how big of a distraction can the league hand you? Heading off to a freakin' different continent right after the game...
Teams playing prior to going to London are 6-16 against the spread. You wanna make some money? Bet against the team that is about to go to London the following week.
Question: why did they have to fly out tonight? They could have flown tomorrow or Tues and still had plenty of time to get over the jet lag and do local press/publicity stuff.

I have no idea.
I also have no idea why everyone seems to want to completely blow off the point. It's a relevant enough point. Guess they're still not over today's game. Any football game is a momentous occasion for these guys that hit each other all day...then they have to worry about flying out to London the same day. They ain't landing until early tomorrow morning.
If you notice, everybody playing in London has a home game the previous week, and they have their byes after the London game. There is a reason for that. It's not nothing.
I wonder how that stream is going to work next week early in the morning for the Jags game....that's never been tried before.
