With training camp practices set to start Saturday, the Seahawks reached a contract agreement with veteran punter Tom Rouen yesterday and moved closer to signing their top two draft choices -- Washington State cornerback Marcus Trufant and Arkansas safety Ken Hamlin.
Not a bad day's work for senior vice president Mike Reinfeldt, the club's chief contract negotiator.
The team also signed two draft choices -- third-rounder Wayne Hunter, a tackle from Hawaii; and fifth-rounder Chris Davis, a fullback from Syracuse -- and reached agreements with two others -- fourth-rounders Solomon Bates, a middle linebacker from Arizona State; and Seneca Wallace, a quarterback from Iowa State.
