View Full Version : Coaches Didn't Lose The Game, Refs Didn't Lose The Game

EJ Manuel lost the game today.

He gave up 14 points in 7 seconds.

The first pick made me head straight to the bathroom.

Less than 5 minutes later the score was 21-3.

What a waste of a good breakfast!

The defense held strong all day long and got screwed on a phantom penalty.

The coaches somehow managed to put their players in position to win at the end of the game with backups.

The game ended how it finished.

EJ Manuel couldn't make a short throw to an open receiver.

Game over.

Any team in the NFL is as good, or bad as their QB.

Now I have to stew in this freaking diaper for 2 damn weeks.

And I'm never stunned.

I was stunned with how poorly EJ Manuel played today. He has shown zero signs of improvement.

It's the same old inaccurate EJ.

Jesus. Blindly "blaming" this loss on EJ is stupid beyond measure.

This team's defense was supposed to be it's strength. It's one of it's biggest weaknesses.

When Tyrod comes back, it's still going to be the same defense. They suck!

Oh...yes, EJ sucks. But he's not the reason this team is 3-4.

I'm damn sick and tired of pointing fingers at who to blame after losses, we should be figuring out who gets the credit after wins. But Noooooooo....we had to be smarter than the rest of the league and hire Rex ****ing Ryan and most of his worthless ****ing assistants.

Coaching is overrated. It's all about the Quarterback in the NFL.

Take away the starting QB from any NFL team, and most coaches don't look very good.

I gave issues of things that could have helped, but sure enough, it if wasn't for extremely poor QB play and horrendous inaccuracy of said QB, this would be a W.

Face it.

Yes EJ sucks....

But so does Tyrod.

So does Rex.

So does Whaley.

So do the Refs.

So does the London Series.

And your father smelt of elderberries.

Oh...yes, EJ sucks. But he's not the reason this team is 3-4.

The D is solely responsible for only 14 of the 34 points. EJ's mistakes(the fumble and the pick 6)gave up 14 points all by themselves.

Can't really blame the D after that 4 down stand on the 1

or after the pick 6 to take the lead

Those long plays happen on rollouts. Especially with only one decent safety.

And 7 of those 14 points were served on a silver platter by a phantom flag.

The defense held Blake Bortles to less than 200 yards passing.

Three straight turnovers. Two returned for TD's. And some people STILL want to defend EJ? Insane!

Doug Whaley should swallow his pride, admit that drafting EJ was a mistake, and trade him for whatever we can get in return. That includes a sack of deflated footballs.

If I was in Doug's position, I'd be working the phones right NOW trying to move him out of Buffalo.

That's like trying to sell a grouper fish.

Right now, I don't care. I want him GONE. Period. End of discussion.

The NFL, more than any other league, is a "what have you done for me lately?" league when it comes to results. Hell, kickers have been cut for less, for God's sake! If your QB loses two straight games in a row, normally that would be an automatic cut. Hell, when the Bills suffered those two straight turnovers that led to Jaguars points, I'd have parked Manuel on the bench and thrown Josh Johnson into the mix and see what he could do. He couldn't have been any worse than EJ at that point.

Grouper is delicious. Much easier to sell that than EJ.

That's what is so disappointing about EJ's game today. He showed no signs of development.

Exactly, he'll always be off target and make one of two great throws to keep the suckers thinking he can improve.

EJ made about 20 bad passes, 10 bad decisions, and 1 beautiful throw any good high school quarterback could have made.

Start him against Miami!

Funny how the Jets have found this resurgence simply by installing a game manager at QB and a new HC, isn't it?

Then he, like so many other Bills, got injured on the CheapTurf and never was the same again.

It's ridiculous how many injuries this team has, year in and year out.

Blame the turf, forgot about that one. I suppose it was the turf's fault for causing EJ Manuel to throw the ball dirt first.

Blame the injuries, blame the turf, blame the coach, blame the GM.

"Fire them all!"

Do everything but blame EJ Manuel for losing the game.

Just like Tyrod Taylor won the game against Tennessee by himself, EJ Manuel lost to the lowly Jaguars because of his poor play, and every Buffalo Bills player knows it.
