you're just not used to watching TD drives.

the vast majority of TD drives in the NFL include at least 1 15+yard play in them (i think the number was something stupid like 90-95%; that percentage has been pretty much unchanged for the past 20 years). the 5 yard per play, ground and pound or dink and dunk drives for TDs are the anomaly not the rule.
