    Balls and Goats

Duke Williams & Bacarri Rambo - Game Balls.
    McCoy & Karlos Wiliams

Goat? What happened to Colton Schmidt on that punt bumble? Looked like a bad snap. Phil Simms kept saying Schmidt took his eye off the ball.

The punt coverage was good because Schmidt was avg'ing about 30 yards a punt. The guy had a terrible game.

He average over 40 yards a punt

At halftime he had 4 punts for 192 yards

I was being facetious. He did look awful yesterday. Maybe partly due to the terrible snaps.

On a side note. When the return man is all the way towards one sideline, why don't they punt it to the other sideline? Is there another guy back there that we can't see?

Sometimes that's the case, but when did the returner line up on the sideline?

I thought it was a poor snap too! Lucky that the punter was able to pick it up and cover it, otherwise the Jets could have easily ran it in for 6 points, and the game.

This lowly cart.... it hits harder and has a higher yards
per play average than the Bills' offense!

                    Re: Balls and Goats

When your team wins & the QB doesn't turn the ball over, only the last of the remaining EJ/Cassel supporters would dare to call Tyrod a goat. Give it a rest already.

With the game on the line, on 3rd down they trusted Tyrod enough to get the 1st down passing & he hit Sammy. That play alone is enough to not be a goat.

Roman has to be a goat. Guy started trying to run the clock out with like 12:00 left in the 3rd quarter.

Not right on the sideline, but if you go back and watch, almost every time the Return man is inside the hash towards the near sideline.

Yup - it looked from where I was sitting like they went into Prevent Mode which was ridiculous with that much time left in the game and an easily overcome lead.

                            Balls
Rambo. He may be ****ty in coverage but his special teams play and run support is very very good.
Shady. He was our offense yesterday. Starting to find his rhythm.
Defense. They broke on a couple of occasions but overall a good performance
Karlos. Dude just finds a way to get into the end zone
Sammy. Numbers may not show it but he was eating Revis' lunch all night long. A better throw from Tyrod on that 1st play and its a touchdown. He also dropped another one but he was getting separation consistently.

                            Goats
Roman. Kept calling rollout plays to Wilkerson's side. Ran the same shotgun draw to Shady at the end of the game, didn't get Woods involved. I like Greg, it was just a bad day for him.
Colton. Usually a solid player but he had a ****ty 2nd half. He was looking like his usual self booming punts in the 1st half but afterwards his punts seemed to go short and the obvious mishandled snap.
Refs. As per usual the refs got in their **** calls gifting 2 first downs to the Jets on horrible spots. They also missed an obvious incomplete pass which we had to challenge. Bradham's helmet losing play was a huge missed hands to the face penalty as well. Par for the course for this **** refs.

                              Re: Balls and Goats

The snap he muffed was not good but the main problem on the turnover and even on the punts leading up to this was that the Jets were getting pressure and Schmidt was unnerved trying to hurry and taking his eyes off the ball before securing it.
