More action at the casino, er, NFL; tradable comp picks posed.

It's a wonderful day in the neighborhood...

The NFL's Competition Committee has recommended that compensatory draft picks be tradable, but the measure is subject to a vote.

Great. Just in time for New England to nab three or four extra's and package them to move up and draft Brady's replacement. What a coincidence.

I'm questioning how much this is Bills related? Bills never seem to get comp picks. Every year the same teams get them. Some people know how to use the system and some don"t.

They don't get comp picks because they sign big-name FAs and peripatetic qbs and end up on the wrong side of the compensatory pick equation. Those signings meet the goal of packing the stands, but hasn't given much of a pay-off in the W-L column.
