There, I said it again.

Wondering why defensive tackle Marcell Dareus was biting his tongue after the game was over? Here’s one theory: On both of Smith’s scoring strikes, the 6-foot-3, 331-pounder who inked a $108 million contract extension dropped into coverage… against air.

Dareus, in coverage. Ryan can't help himself. He's an idiot, I said it again. I'll say it once more, Ryan is an idiot. Dareus. In coverage.

Idiot idiot idiot idiot. I'm taking some time off from football.

He once also had IK guard a RB at the goal line on a crucial drive against the Bengals...and of course he ran right passed him and scored the TD...

Rex and his clown of coaches are the definition of clueless and moronic.

It's truely amazing that there are still Bills fans defending Rex Ryan.

There might be some weight to the argument that Rex does well at attracting some decent FAs.

However, when it comes to every other function a coach serves, he is the worst. Worse than Marrone. Worse than Gailey. Worse than Jauron. Worse than Mularky. Worse than Williams.

At one point he had jerry hughes in single coverage on Gronk

That was by design. Gronk is quicker than Hughes, so Hughes will not be close enough to Gronk to commit a personal foul. That was actually a clever move by Rex to scheme in order to take Hughes out of the play ....

I was onboard when he was hired but had some reservations re his showing last year when we killed his jets (and remember all those penalties on the jets). Now I'm all onboard for getting rid of him. He is truly a lousy head coach and I really, really hate what he has done to our defense. Unfortunately his contract is a tough pill to swallow so I think he'll be around for a while.

You underestimate him. Jerry Hughes is capable of committing a personal foul with his mouth from anywhere on the field. He's truly versatile that way.

There's room on the Sabres bandwagon. Lots of room.

Passing him by insinuates that he was once a qualified head coach/game manager. One was never the case, the other is debatable.

When Rex was with the Jets ,Bills fans had no love for him. But after they hired him the Love fest began. Rex hasn't changed . Bills fans have.
Always go with your first instinct. He was a loser then and is a loser now.
Check his record.
An idiot loser that fed a playoff starved fanbase just what they wanted to hear.
Doug Whaley is #2 on my list. We're no better off then when he came. He spend his bucks on expensive wheels (Sammy) and put them on a car (the Bills) with a guy who couldnt drive. (see EJ).
A solid GM. A great coach and a franchise Qb get you to the playoffs . We have none of them.
I've been a Bills fan for 50+ years and have never been so disgusted.

I've always liked Rex Ryan. I used to live in Cortland where the Jets had their training camp when he was there coach and he and the coaching staff used to frequent the same bar that I did. He's a really nice down to earth guy. My friends who worked at that bar never had a bad word to say about him. Sure, I've probably made some negative comments about him, but that comes with the territory if you're on the Jets.

The way he reacts on the sideline is pretty much exactly the same way I do when I'm on my couch watching TV and how I would imagine I would react if I were coaching the Bills.

Obviously, none of this qualifies him to be an NFL coach but I have always liked him and will continue to like him even if he fails in Buffalo. Ever since the Dick Jauron days, I've become content with the fact that the Bills will probably never make the playoffs again. I just want the team to be entertaining, I want to be entertained for 3 hours on Sunday and maybe for a little while during the week while looking around for Bills news/videos. Rex Ryan does this. I was hoping he would come here and build a playoff contender, but it doesn't seem like he's done that. Oh well, just another day as a Bills fan.

Well; Mario Williams was injured. So he needed to replace that 100m in coverage somehow.

Back in January Rex did say "This is it. This is my last stop. This is it for me," Ryan said Thursday during an appearance on ESPN Radio's Mike & Mike. "The last team I'll ever coach will be the Buffalo Bills..."

So yeah, he'll again find a job where his mouth can take him. Probably behind a mic.

Told you so on Ryan the day he was signed.
Told you so on Manuel.
Told you so on Tyrod Taylor.
Told you so on Whaley.
Told you so on Brandon.
Told you so on the Pegulas.

Smell rotten eggs? There's a reason you do.

HC - should be Schwartz.
QB should be someone who can stand in the pocket, read a defense and react properly - and throw more than 10 yard passes.

Bon Jovi and Donald Trump are laughing at you.

Rex Ryan is a stupid douche of a coach. Might be a good guy in person but a stupid douche as a coach.

Saw that. The one to Kelce is hysterical (in all the wrong ways) Dareus just drops about 2 steps into coverage. Looks totally out of sorts and then kinda tries to rush the line only to see Smith throw the TD pass. ******ed. Like playing 11 vs 10

Soooo stupid, so stubborn.

Play to your roster's strengths man. This guy wants them to play his brand of defense irregardless if they are suited for it or not. Why can't he just pick up a god damned video from last year and see what we did ?? Selfish, self centered, moron.

I always thought he was a good coach but had lousy talent on offense and a crap GM. Now that he's here I see he hasn't learned much about game management and literally destroyed this defense.
