List penalties from this year, that shouldn't have been called

Pretty simple.. let's list penalties that were completely asinine.. doesn't even have to be just Buffalo.

Robey getting pass interference on 3rd and 15 when we were up 34-31, that play alone gave Bortles the biggest mulligan of his Jacksonville career. I 100% believe we win that game even with Manuel at QB.. and people would still be content with him as a backup.

Let's hear which ones really bothered you.

While I can't be certain it wasn't happening, I found the "mimicing the offense's signals" call against Domata Peko in the Cards/Bengals game to be a really ****ty way to end such an otherwise very hotly-contested game against 2 great teams. The Cardinals claim he was doing it all game. If so, then call the penalty earlier! Don't wait until it hands one team 15 yards and a MUCH easier FG to end the game. That's just bad officiating.

EJ sucks and I wouldn't be comfortable with him as a back up even if we pulled out the win against Jax. The reason we lost- or the reason we would have had to pull out a win if that had been the outcome- is because he gift-wrapped three turnovers for them.

PI call on Watkins vs the Pats the 2nd game of the season that was horse****
PI or personal foul on Corey Graham against the Titans that was horse****

That Robey PI vs Jax was beyond pathetic. Cost us the game. No more than Manuel but it did at the end.

Graham's PF vs Tennesse was pretty lame too but it didn't end up costing us that much.

I'm more pissed at stupid calls than stupid flags

This past week alone featured 3 game changing missed calls. The Hogan "drop", Alex Smith a full yard short on a 3rd down run in the 4th quarter and the clear as day non catch by Maclin. Of course we doubled down on the idiocy by Rex keeping the red in his pants.

The inadvertent whistle fiasco gave the Pats close to 30 free yards too. And I realize they screwed them as well. But then refs decided to make it up by completely disregarding the rules and the Bills and doing "the equitable" thing. I don't remember refs ever giving us a freebie to make up for a missed call earlier.

Giving the Bills consecutive goddamn taunting calls against New England, one of which came from the bench. And again another bench penalty on the inadvertent whistle in the 2nd game, including the catch that should not have counted.

Robey against Jacksonville pops into my head... The PF on Hughes(?) last year after a 3rd down stop on the Pats for slapping a teammate in the helmet is right there, too.

What about the other end of the spectrum? Things that should have been penalized that weren't. Pats fans ***** about the call against Chung, but the week before, against the Bills, he faceguarded Hogan near the goal line on a deep pass. Never turned his head, nothing. No call. If that's a Pats receiver and a Bills defender, it's called 11 times out of 10.

I also remember a couple weeks back or so, Teddy Bridgewater got drilled which should have been a Roughing the Passer... No flag. However, Aaron Rodgers got what amounted to a love tap and the flag went flying... Not sure if it was the same game, but was pretty ridiculous.

The No-call on the batted ball in the SEA/DET game, the no-call on the procedure in the JAX/BAL game prior to the FG and the no-call on the neutral zone infraction prior to the blocked FG in the BAL/CLE game all had a direct impact on the winner of the game.

Lions losing 2 games on last play due to officiating: First versus Seahawks as Seahawks player bats fumble out of end zone (which should have been called) and on Thursday Night Football vs Packers as Phantom Facemask call on last play of game gives Packers 15 yards and a Hail Mary they converted.

What makes life even more frustrating to Lion's Fans is that past year has been full of Officiating Blowing games for them. In last year's playoffs they lose the Game as Refs pick up flag on obvious PI vs Cowboys, then this year Refs directly cause 2 Losses for Lions knocking them out of Playoff Contention Once Again.

... It really does suck being a Lions Fan..
