All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

It was real bad guys. He was told it was 50-50 he could ever play again. Said he lost feeling on his entire left side after the Pats game and then felt numb in the Tennessee game. Also said he's considering retiring. Says he'll know once he gets back on the field an takes that first hit if he's still gonna play or hang the cleats.

Wow.
all the best to AW.
Once that's in your head, you're basically retired already.
Frankly I hope he does hang the cleats, while he can still raise his hands to the shelf.

Watch the video on the official Bills site. It reads a lot worse than the way he tells it when you actually hear him in context. Sounds like they wanted to prepare him for the possibility of not playing again depending on the outcome of the procedure he had done. It also sounds like the procedure went well.
In 2010, they finished 4 and 10 with Fitz; year before 6 - 10 with Fitz/Trent Edwards. They also had (dumbly) spent a bundle on Brad Smith.
Cripes - in classic Buddy Nix fashion, CIN made no secret about coveting Dalton. Nix didn't take the hint.
We know the rest of the story - Fitz started off hot in 2011, they inked him to a fat contract, watched him fizzle (bad ribs, it was said), then dumped him after a 6-10 season then drafted Manual. It's hard to type this stuff...
