Isn't that special?

The player they drafted in the 2nd round in 2011 at #34. Followed by CIN drafting Dalton at #35. :scooter:

Just read some stuff from AW.

It was real bad guys. He was told it was 50-50 he could ever play again. Said he lost feeling on his entire left side after the Pats game and then felt numb in the Tennessee game. Also said he's considering retiring. Says he'll know once he gets back on the field an takes that first hit if he's still gonna play or hang the cleats.

Wow.

all the best to AW.

Once that's in your head, you're basically retired already.

Frankly I hope he does hang the cleats, while he can still raise his hands to the shelf.

Watch the video on the official Bills site. It reads a lot worse than the way he tells it when you actually hear him in context. Sounds like they wanted to prepare him for the possibility of not playing again depending on the outcome of the procedure he had done. It also sounds like the procedure went well.

another Buddy Nix special!

Indeed.

In 2010, they finished 4 and 10 with Fitz; year before 6 - 10 with Fitz/Trent Edwards. They also had (dumbly) spent a bundle on Brad Smith.

Cripes - in classic Buddy Nix fashion, CIN made no secret about coveting Dalton. Nix didn't take the hint.

We know the rest of the story - Fitz started off hot in 2011, they inked him to a fat contract, watched him fizzle (bad ribs, it was said), then dumped him after a 6-10 season then drafted Manual. It's hard to type this stuff...

UGH. Gilmore and Kar. Williams noted on CBSSports site. No surprise that your info includes Bradham, what with an ankle. PHI shows all as probable.

Geez. It sounded like Gilmore was going to be back initially.

Man I love Karlos as much as the next guy but this week is gonna be the 6th (I think?) game he misses. Dude better not be another Marquis Goodwin, Percy Harvin made of glass kinda player.

Shades of Derrick Burroughs...unfortunate for AW if the same result, but I have to agree with Illumy...if it's that bad, get out while you can.

We he got his man in EJ because he had big hands so there's that...
