LAKE BUENA VISTA - Coach Jon Gruden singled out receiver Charles Lee as a player who has impressed him early in training camp at Disney's Wide World of Sports complex.
"Charles Lee has come in here and caught my eye," Gruden said.
Lee, in his fourth season with the Bucs, has played in 23 games, mostly on special teams. He had 10 catches for 134 yards and one touchdown as a rookie but just three receptions in 2001 and was inactive for all but one game last season.
"He's got all the athletic ability," receivers coach Richard Mann said. "It's time for him to come on. It's time to play. I think he realizes that. He's taking the bull by the horns."
