is there any configuration of teams the Bills could play that gets them better than 7-9? Not that many worse off than the Bills.

They make us play New England twice, again?!

any good QB prospects that could be there at #6 two offseasons from now?

1-3 vs the AFC North, 2-2 vs the NFC West, 3-3 vs the AFC East, 1-1 vs same place finishers sounds like a realistic outlook.

And a 7-9 overall record.

steelers beat us
cardinals are better
patriots beat us 2x
on the road, balt doesn't suck 2 yrs in a row
bengals win
stl rams win because we always lose one road game to a subpar team
AFC west on road ends in tears
2 afc east losses just because.

That's 10 losses. my pt is that we had the AFC south and the NFC east, two horrid divisions and are 3-3 through 6 of the 8 games. imagine the NFC west nd AFC North. Better divisions on the whole

We are already 0-2 with our 2 annual loses to Brady.

There is also no shot of beating Seattle and Cincy on the road so that's 2 more losses. Whaddayouknow. We are already 0-4.

We could play Jax and Tennessee eight times each and I don't think we could break 0.500.

We could if we sprinkled games vs the Dolphins in there.

Agreed.

Only shot the Bills have at a wining season is playing Miami 16 times.

6-10.

Calling it now.

it is hard to disagree with that. I think the structure of the team and its unwillingness to change drastically will yield the same average of 6-7 wins until its fixed.

It is sad that if they scrapped all of the FO, hired a fan, and had a subscription to a draft guide, they could be where they've been for the last 16 yr or better

Yeah maybe 7-9 if you want to go strictly by the scoreboard. But c'mon you guys need to listen closer to Rex's pressers. We'll be 12-4 easy if you count games where we're the better team. So lighten up.

I don't have high expectations for next year.

LOL at the people claiming to know the future! You have no idea how good or bad any of those teams will be next year.

Ravens, Chargers , NFC East and Lions should tell you all you need to know about how last season has nothing to do with this season. For all we know we could end up with the easiest schedule in the NFL at the end of 2016.

Predictions can be difficult, especially about the future.

Easily another 10 losses with Rex, a rebuilding d, and a team that doesn't stop taking penaltiesSo it's a year to year thing and can change quickly. But, heres what I see:

Home:
Cleveland- Could be in full out rebuild
Pittsburh- Not what they once were
Arizna- A force to be reckoned with
San Fran- Whos the QB?
AFC South same place finisher- Who knows at this point
NE- Brady retirement watch? Not likely but who knows
MIA- A mess with no HC
NYJ- Outperforming but Fitz is a UFA. Will they pay to keep him?

Away:
Balt- Underperforming and on the decline
Cincy- Could topple NE as AFC's best team
STL- Mediocre. Folk isn't a stud
Seattle- Under-performing this year. Declining?
AFC West Same place finisher- Who knows
NE- Same as before
MIA- Same as before
NYJ- Same as before

An optimist would say that based on what is likely to happen and what we currently know... Including keeping the talent we have... We have the talent to beat all the teams listed with the exception of Cinnci, NE, and Arizona. That's 4 games. The tricky part is fixing our poor discipline this year, upgrading a few spots, and playing sound football next year... building on what we've done.

No but I can tell you how good the Bills will be next year, an underachieving, undisciplined mess...just like this year.

So laugh now, but don't be surprised next year at this time if they Bills again are around 6-7.

Talent overall does not matter. Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Seattle all have QBs and are better overall teams than the Bills because of it. So there's 7 games where you're likely losing all of them...of course you could steal 1 or 2 of them but this is a team who is so undisciplined they'll likely drop a game or two they should win to even it out.
