    Ryan Fitzpatrick and the weather

Remember we all used to criticize Fitzpatrick of playing well in September and poorly in November & December when it was cold & snowy?

Well it's a record warm season and Fitzpatrick is playing his best football in years. He's #14 in passing yards. He was never that high as a Bill.

    60% percentage. 25 TDs 11 TDs.

    Coincidence?

    Its quite simple man

He's no longer wearing the Bills uni. Its the football gods laughing in our faces making Fitzy a playoff quarterback playing for the SAME Gailey that didn't cut it here for us either.

This team is cursed in soooooo many ways its unreal.

It's even simpler then that. Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker are miles better than any pair of wideouts he had in Buffalo and arguably one of the top duos in the league. He's thrown 25 TDs and 20 have gone to those two.

But Lee Evans was great remember? He just needed a real team and QB to throw him the ball...oh wait.

Ummm, Stevie Johnson was awesome! No?

        Crap.

I still remember all those threads and posts of people who thought Lee Evans would be a total stud if he was put on a real team with a real QB. I chuckled then and am chuckling now in remembrance of them.

Fitzpatrick sucked and still sucks. If you can't see him absolutely murdering that team at some point this year, then I don't know what to tell you.

I'd rather be 8-5 with Fitzpatrick and a chance at actually making the postseason over being 6-7 with a one read option QB.

                But hey, that's just me.

Me too. On a team with an offense run by Gailey and retooled after the Rex disaster in one short season.

Any Bills fans criticizing anything about the Jets right now just sounds kind of foolish.

It's another prime example of how important the QB position is, the Bills arguably, have more talent than the Jets do overall but the Jets actually have a QB not a glorified RB.

The Bills would be better than 6-7 with Fitz at the helm or hell even Kyle Orton.

And we would all be sitting here still realizing that we need to actually go out and get a QB of the future instead of being forcefed this oh, Tyrod just needs more experience crap that fans eat up because Tyrod can make a couple flashy plays a game. The couple of flashy plays far outweigh all the meh in between.

We all saw that act when Losman was here too. He threw some pretty deep balls so not many gave a crap that he was pretty terrible besides those plays.

I can still remember how psyched Bills fans were the day Ralph flew Drew Bledsoe into Buffalo on his private plane. It's all been downhill since there.

                      That was 2002.

Then they followed that act up with one of the most stellar drafts of all time: LINK

I dunno, it's another Bills season watching other people and being happier for them than about us. Can't begrudge the redoubtable, flawed, likable Gailey and Fitz anything.

My question is when is that going to happen? People have been saying it all season and he is still playing strong.

                            Marshall > Stevie Johnson.

Marshall is making Fitz look good.

Let's hold off on how good the Jets are until their last two games vs the Pats and Bills. There's a good chance we both end up with the same record.
