NFL Saturday Night Main Event: Jets Vs. Cowboys

I didn't even know there was a game on tonight.

At 4-9, the Cowboys are still considered to be "In the hunt."

With three weeks to go in the NFL regular season, only three teams have locked up some of the 12 playoff spots between the two conferences...

Jets are favored by 3.5 points at Dallas.

If Decker didn't tear his ACL I'd be surprised.

Way off on Decker, already back. And the guy that was almost the Bills' starting QB was yanked for Kellen Moore.

And the guy who used to be the Bills starting QB is in the hunt for the playoffs.

This would be a better Bills team with Fitz at QB. **** the haters. I'd bet money that Greg Roman's Offense would function far better with a brainy veteran like Fity than a flashy one-read QB. Tyrod throws a pretty looking deep ball, and he looks very trendy running the football. But the Bills are 28th in the league and passing, and when they have the ball and a chance to tie or take the lead at the end of games this year they are 0-5.

                    The Cowboys lost - good.

This lowly cart.... it hits harder and has a higher yards
per play average than the Bills' offense!

I dunno - don't forget - the Bills DID beat this team. I am not a Tyrod fan, but I think he's better than Fitzpatrick. The fact the Jets, who were 4-12 last year, and now suddenly can't finish worse than a decent 9-7 in the first year without Ryan, is a stinging indictment of Rex Ryan, rather than an endorsement for Fitzpatrick or any single player on the Jets team.

Most of the Bills' problems have been caused by a horrendous number of penalties, lots of them at "couldn't be a worse time for a penalty", as well as utterly incompetent clock management; all that's on the coaching. If Roman is taking 30 seconds to send in a play call in a 2 minute drill situation, I don't think a different QB would help.

BTW, Cowboys are now eliminated. Couldn't happen to a better bunch of cocky, over-rated jerks! Jones, and his red-headed step-child, Garrett, deserve each other. Garrett can't hardly engineer a win without Tony Romo. I don't like Romo either, but he carries the whole team on his shoulders when he's healthy - they totally melt down when he's sidelined.

People actually wanted this guy to start for the Bills this season, and whined that the Bills made a mistake in trading him.

That pretty much sums it up for me. I've never been a Fitz hater, though his INTs were hair pulling.

If nothing else, you knew you were getting 100% effort from teh guy, and that he was trying to win a game rather than worry about his own stats.

Even though its with the Jets, I'm happy for him
