As I've said already, there is absolutely no reason to keep Mario anymore.

He makes way too much money for a guy who's completely pointless and irrelevant in Rex's completely pointless and irrelevant defensive scheme.

They won't fire Ryan, so they will cut Mario.

Other than in the minds of the fanboys, that was evident since the git-go.

Funny thing is, why would they follow the path of inking big-name players and stabbing themselves in the cap in a city where sell-outs are as regular as the rising of the sun? Then they compounded the felony with signing McCoy. Add in the trading to get Watkins.

Dysfunction junction, to paraphrase the children's show "Sesame Street."...

Mario obviously has not been a difference maker this season but getting rid of him will leave a Bills front seven that already has no depth with a real hole from a talent perspective. Will make it easier to key on Hughes and Dareus and further reduce their effectiveness.

The ENTIRE team needs to get nuked. Blow it the hell up and start over.

(Yeah, I'm blowing off steam. Anyone got a problem with that? Take a number and get in line.)

The re-signings of Dareus and Hughes for huge money both make absolutely no sense. So much money tied into a D-line that is completely pointless with the current scheme and no way to do anything about it for years.

Mario never played all the snaps. He was never a game disruptor. Worth maybe half what he got paid. Good, not elite. Get rid of him.

Rex is an idiot but Mario is worse. He's a quitter. I'd cut him before the season just to make an example that quitting babies arent wanted.

And they were too content with Dareus and Kevin Williams. Interior DT pressure is the thing these days, to pressure the qb in this era of libertine passing rules. Draft after draft, they didn't try to restock the larder with interior DLs. You don't have to draft them high unless a potential gem comes along, but you have to keep that position very high on your priorities in later rounds. IMO.

Dareus is the only starter among last year's dominant dline that can actually fit in Wreck's defense...Mario doesn't, and the reality is they never should have re-signed Hughes when they determined Wryan was going to be 'the guy'. The only thing worth a damn amongst the entire front seven to keep is Dareus, and maybe two of the three current back-ups (Bryant, Charles, Carrington)...everyone else would be better off in a real defense, not one that the league passed by 5-10 years ago.

My god. Just cutting Mario would be ******ed. They need to restructure the deal. Cutting talent is ****ing stupid.

Not as stupid as having 15.3 million tied into a guy who simply doesn't fit the system. Even if you restructure him it's gonna be at least 10 million tied into him.

The entire defensive line is stupid, sure they have talent, but none of them fit and they all make an assload of money on top of it.

Well, good luck bringing in 7 new players that fit the scheme.

And Dareus is being wasted on this D. He's being used as a space eater, and that's a waste with his strength/speed combination.

With 15 plus due next season what's the hit if you cut him???? The whole 15 unless someone picks him up?

People keep assuming the Bills fans show up rain or shine but that was starting to fade. We've needed a number of manufactured sellouts in recent years.

Unsure what the amount would be if he was outright cut, 15.3 is the total he can earn with incentives though.

Won't happen. But like he's saying it's not the players fault for not fitting, and if you keep them they still won't. Damn shame, but they have to either trash it or accept it won't work well, and trashing it will be the Ryan choice so he can implement his stupid one trick vision, because he's never wrong.

Except Dareus too quit on Cousin's TD. If not Cousin never cuts it inside (or Dareus kills him for sure).
Lot of guys dogging it out there on D, not just Mario.
We are in the position of having a player's HC whose players have quit on him.
Not good.
Fire Rex and the bum GM who misled the naive owners into hiring him.
