Im going with 19 yrs. One more year of Wrecks and 2 yrs to clean up his mess.

I voted 19 years, but now regret my vote. Unless we get incredibly lucky in the next few drafts, it's going to be longer than 20 years for two reasons. First, the Pegs are going through a learning curve, and second, I think they need to clean out the front office and hire some competent football people.

Ryan will be here at least 2 more years reshaping the roster the way he sees fit, which we've all seen what he does when he shapes a roster in his image. He took Mangini's team in NY and made them worse, so that will take us to 18 years of no playoffs.

Year 19 will be a new guy who will have to rebuild and retool the roster the way he wants, so that year is out.

Year 20 might be a glimmer of hope if they strike gold on fixing the roster or find a QB.

Same. Next rebuild. Just gets worse until it starts.

20+ years seems about right.

it will be another ~3 years of REX, probably the same period of time for DW. by the time the owners fire the front office and coaching staff, it will probably be 2018. The chances they'll catch lightning in the bottle with the next gm/coach and launch us into the playoffs immediately is probably pretty thin.

The amazing thing is, is our roster is talented enough to make the playoffs. But we won't because we got an idiot head coach.

20+ years.

It's amazing that we can't even dumb luck our way into the playoffs at least one year. Even the Browns have managed that before us.

Just hope that 2016 will be a better year.

I voted 20 years but should have voted more. If you had a never making the playoffs again option, I would have voted for that option. Bills are cursed. Only explanation I have for the gross display of football year after year.

Bills are cursed.

Sad, but that's exactly what this team is.

Being an optimist I voted 19. Rex gets fired at the end of 17. We get lucky with our next coach but it takes him a year to get things turned around. We make the playoffs in his second year. Yeah, I know. Not likely but it's the best we can hope for at this point.

20+ years.

Sharing a division with Tom Brady will do that to you. Compare our situation to the NFC East that we've just been struggling with. Losing to Philly dropped us to 6-7 and all but ended our season. Beating us rose Philly up to 6-7 and put them in a tie for their division lead. When you share a division with a team that beats you like a handball and is a mortal lock for double-digit wins, it drops your margin of error to nearly zero.

I'm a Pats fan and I watch as many Bills games as possible , that said I have never seen a run of pure bad luck suffered by any team.
Also, the Bills have had the talent to make the playoffs at least 4 times in the last 10 or so years. With the bad luck and the worse coaching history since Marv Leavy retired I can't see the Bills making the playoffs until a normal head coach is hired.

18 IF Pegula fires Rex in the offseason. 20 if he lets him stay another year.
