I'm sure this article will infuriate some people on this board, but EJ won't be going anywhere next year nor will he get replaced.

I'm pretty sure he'll be on the roster, they have to pay him anyway and I can't imagine who would trade for him, not real sure he won't be number 3 though.

I'd be fine with it if he suddenly tuned in for whatever reason, but I don't have much hope left he will. His assortment of qb "coaches" and makeshift offenses about ruined whatever potential he might have had, imho. I don't know what they have going on in terms of their passing game with Roman and Wildcat Lee, but if Taylor still struggles with his reads, I'm less than optimistic Manuel will suddenly pick them up and become confident enough to accomplish anything much.

By now I'm pretty sure he is what he is and isn't going to get any better.

i remember reading how pissed he was when Jimbo was ushered into town after the USFL fold. Mathison hated Jim Kelly being anointed and wished for a competition for HIS starting QB job.
