This is the game I am really waiting for and I'm worried I'll peak with my beer supply about 15 minutes before the kickoff.

I'd like to see McCarron have a good game. Hopefully his wife is in the stands, and Brent Musberger isn't in the booth.

I'm going to miss Gruden. I really like Gruden in the booth.

I'm never really sure Mike Tomlin brings the Steelers to the playoffs so much as the Steelers bring Mike Tomlin to the playoffs.

My gut feeling is that the Steelers run away with this in the 2nd half, which is why it's real likely the Bengals win a squeaker.

Nah - coach-for-life Marvin panics at half time if they are behind, and abandons the run game. If not, trust in the refs.

Might be, but I have a strong tendency to be wrong. It's me vs. Lewis.

I'm loving the defense, and the weather.

If somebody wants to watch teams run up and back putting points on the scoreboard every time they touch the ball they should switch to basketball.

Well if the guy in the cape wanted to be any more conspicuous, I don't know how he'd have pulled it off.

I have the NOAA weather site tabbed. Looks like more rain to come.

He was as porky as they come when he was drafted.

Kirkpatrick injured. This may end up like a BUF-CIN game a few years back, when CIN ended up using LBs for DBs.

If I'd won a national championship, married a hottie, and got drafted to play QB in the NFL I'd probable be cocky too. Hell, I'm one for three as it is and I can be 'porky'.

That's an interesting stat I didn't think of...in this weekend's games, the 'away' QBs have 37 playoff starts, the 'home' QBs zero.

Pittsburgh's Blake has to run a better pattern there for McCarron to complete that.

9-0 Pittsburgh, a blowout, and I'm struggling to explain to my gf who arrived with beer & pizza expecting to watch Netflix, why this is compelling or why I'm not sure Netflix even has the movie I told her we'd watch if she brought beer and pizza, though she owed me one after I posted her bail last week with that stolen check.

For Sale: Hue Jackson and Paul Guenther. No reasonable offers refused. Call owner or head coach-for-life.

Lewis should be out in Cincy tomorrow.

They don't win in the playoffs normally and now he's completely lost control of his team in a playoff game.

McCarron played poorly most of the night, but he brought the team back to take the lead. Hill needs to hang on to the ball, and Burfict/Jones handed the game over on a silver platter because of stupidity.

Would've loved to have Cinci hang on (playoff wins McCarron 1, Dalton 0) just to see what **** show might ensue over the QBs.

Oh this game worked out sweet for me. Shortly after my last post, I abandoned the game to watch The Shining with the gf. Curious about how it turned out later when she went to the bathroom, I checked, just in time to see the whole ending Cinci meltdown. Then back to The Shining. I was happy, she was happy, life was kind to me for a night.
