Hell has frozen over as someone who had interest from other teams, and was allegedly the Giants top choice, chose to go to Cleveland.

that's a good hire. But it is Cleveland so maybe we could trade them Rex straight up for Hue

He must really, really love Ohio.

Article suggesting the Browns might take Jared Goff now. That should upgrade that team eventually.

That means that Manziel is done in Cleveland: http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/14563044/hue-jackson-hiring-means-cleveland-browns-johnny-manziel-done

The decision remaining is whether to try to trade Manziel, or to simply cut him when the waiver period begins after the Super Bowl.

If Jerry Jones gives Greg Hardy a paycheck, he'll acquire Manziel and buy him a nightclub.

I'd agree that Jerruh would likely be in the market for Manziel, but what about Romo...? Can they cut him and take a $12 million plus dead cap? (That's after June 1, it's a $30 plus mil hit before that).

Just a quick glance at their cap situation, they don't look like they got a lot of room as it is.

Would they dare have Romo and Manziel on the team together...? That doesn't seem like it would work well.

Kind of surprised Hue chose the Browns, though I read he'll have strong control of personnel. Haslam strikes me as an alpha personality, and so does Hue. Will either work out great or terrible through who wins their fistfights.

Better hire than Gase, imo.

I would trade Rex Ryan for Hue Jackson. I would be willing to throw in Rex's brother to sweeten the deal.

Get it done Whaley!

Hue should be entering year 2 of his contract in Buffalo after upgrading the offense, sticking with Schwartz as DC, and breaking the non-playoff appearance streak for the Bills. But...we got Wrecks instead.

If Whaley can pull off a trade for the Ryans he will be my hero.

Poor guy. He'll coach his balls off and still get fired in two years.
