Another former FSU RB. The more running backs I see on the roster, the more I think Boobie may be on his way out.

Stuckincincy had good things to say about him a couple years ago.

I'm sure he can weigh in on the signing with some positives and information about Wilder Jr as a player.

Good. I've recommended that BUF give him a look for the past two years.

Here's a rah-rah video:

I like this signing...wanted the team to draft him the year he came out.

Even if we don't sign another soul there is no reason for Boobie Dixon to be on this team. He can't run for **** and his special teams prowess isn't really irreplaceable.

Bigger back who can hopefully be a short yardage guy for us.

Possible Dixon replacement for sure.

That startled me. I thought at first you meant the 57 year old former former Buc drafted in 1981. I mean he might still be able to gain the tough yards but I'm not sure he'd be too durable after being out of the league for 25 years. At least I think you meant Junior.

I thought it was that guy from Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory.

I am all for competition.

Dixon is good on special teams so his replacement needs to be good on teams as well

2-year CIN pre-season play observation: An aggressive back along the lines of a Corey Dillon. Lowers shoulder, leads with a forearm if need be. hits hard and bounces off the hit. Good NFL rb speed in the open...can deke...nothing like Dillon, though. I can't judge blocking and hands - pre-season action only.

I think he can be a tough short-yardage customer.

No idea about special teams play - never made the CIN active roster.

Die hard FSU fan so I know a thing or two about him.

Wilder doesn't need to play special teams, Boobie's role can be filled by a safety or a lber.
