I think Carolina's offense vs Denver's defense would be fun to watch. That's what I'm rooting for.

Carolina D is making Palmer look like the Carson of the Raiders.

Arizona scored, 17-7, forced a 3andOut, Carolina shanked a punt that would have put Cards in great field position with 2 minutes left, Peterson tried to grab the punt and fumbled.

A dropped first down by Fitz...nothing going Cardinals way so far tonight.

I'm not seeing the current version of Peyton doing real well against the Carolina defense in the big game.

lol...I thought that was an int.

I was wrong about Newton...very wrong.

You and me both, and I was wrong about Rivera as an HC too, very wrong.

No way in hell Arizona is going to post 4 TD's and hold the Panthers scoreless in the last 15 minutes.

Looks like it's a Denver-Carolina Super Bowl.

3 td's. Then again, no telling against the prevent.

Mace

Sure wish we had a kicker who could kick out of the endzone, and kick pats and fg's, and sure wish we had a hurry up offense. And sure wish we had a defense.

The Bills are so far removed from the caliber of talent and structures of all of these organizations.

Carson Carson Carson, you spend your whole career getting here.....and went back to the worst of yourself.

Jordan to Carson at holiday dinner. "So you had a better career, we're still tied in championships, let me borrow a finster, warbucks."

Arizona just gave me Bills SB flashbacks.

Fitz dropping passes;
Peterson muffing a punt and getting burned;
Palmer not seeing defenders on a regular basis;

Maybe they'll lose 4 straight NFC championship games.

And I'm still trying to figure out how Newton does what he's been doing when his best WR is Ted Ginn, Jr.

You know, Carolina gives me Bills SB flashbacks, Powerful, buzzsaw, mild mannered coach who does little, cocky qb, wide variety of roleplayers...until the final game.

I don't think it ends up the same though.

That, to me, makes him even more impressive.

I love Arizona. But heh, the Panthers are something special this season at least. I'll be rooting for them in the SB.

Run, and stop the run. The luster may fade at times, but the concept never goes away.

And to think, the pundits were talking about Rivera being in trouble after the loss in Buffalo.

For every pundit that crushed Newton pre-draft for the simplistic offense and said he would never understand a NFL playbook he's proving them wrong every week. Newton is showing that he may be one of the smartest and most intuitive QB's in the league. He sees things before they happen on the field which is what makes him even more dangerous that simply his athletic ability. The knock on the athletic QB is that they aren't smart and have to react to a defense, however Newton isn't reactive, he's proactive. He's making reads at the line and after the snap that tell him all he needs to know about where the ball needs to go and his mind is made up before the defense has a chance to do what it wants.

Carolina is just going to out and out smack the Broncos in 2 weeks.

That team is a machine that can do whatever it wants, whenever it wants.

My knocks on him were that I felt he was prone to being indecisive, a chronic pouter, and narrowly focused on himself. Mean time he's become a confident, decisive, well focused, team leading, field commander. Proactive, absolutely, he dictates. The more I'm seeing his antics, the more I'm realizing it really isn't showboating, it's zest and joy. It's fun to watch.
