No official announcement but Richie Incognito's tweets seem to say they both have been added. Incognito could also be added as there is a guard position available.

We better sign Incognito

He'll be 33 when the season starts... how much can we realistically afford to pay him?

He will demand no less than 7 per season.

The Pro-Bowl has become a farse. I really don't see this as any additional leverage. Especially since we won't even talk contract until mid next season at the earliest. His play next season is going really be the main and probably only factor.

lol...the positions that need the biggest upgrades in the starting line up for this offense are RT, RG (maybe), C and QB and two of them make the Pro Bowl. Go figure.

Regardless, congrats to both.

Who cares? Evan Mathis is 33 years old and when he went down yesterday the Broncos struggled to run the ball or protect Manning. Pay Incognito for two years and forget about needing to upgrade the LG position in the meantime.

He did. This selection is baffling. It may just be "He's the center on the #1 rushing offense in the nfl."

PFF had him pretty high, was in the top 5 for most of the year as far as C are concerned. Just goes to show how awful Marrone was with getting the line to play up. I don't think Wood is some world beater but he certainly played better this year than the last couple of years.

Didn't Fitz make it once? The Pro Bowl needs to die

What two players dropped out (who already got their all-star contractual $$$ in their pockets) so these two can cash in? :nerd:

Cam Newton and Ryan Kalil advanced to the bowl, Mike Iupati decided to skip and that gets Incognito in.

LOL

They're not perfect, but you also have FO, except they don't publish a lot of their data for nonsubs.

Laugh all you want. This is the outfit that gave Aaron Rodgers a negative grade for a game where he threw for 300 yards and 5 TDs. They put Tyrod Taylor as a top 10 quarterback and Buffalo's as a top 10 offensive line. Taylor was ranked ahead of Aaron Rodgers and Philip Rivers.

They say indefensible things regularly. At least when FO's stats spit out something absurd they try to fix the formulas.

They weigh Taylor's ability to run in their total score. If you look at the passing metrics only, I'm sure the picture will be different. It's his legs that put Tyrod in the top 10.

You need to look at the particulars and not the overall total. If you're a great pass rusher, but can't hold up in the run game well your overall score is going to tank, but your pass rushing grade will be high.

I'm a fan of Taylor's, but even with his running ability he was not a Top 10 QB this year, nor was he better than Rodgers or Rivers.

I'm a fan too bud, I don't think he's a top 10 QB either, but that's the way they graded him and his grade was skewed because of his rushing. Sometimes looking at the bottom line, his total grade, isn't the way to go about it, that's all I'm saying. I don't think they're actually saying he's a top 10 QB in this league, just that he scored well when you factored in everything. Hell, penalties ruin your score as well. It's a weighted score, lots of factors.

PFF and Football Outsiders is good to have, they're not the be all end all, humans are charting this stuff after all, but it's a nice piece to have when trying to complete the puzzle.
