I'm happy Kevin Greene finally got in.
At any rate, HOF is flawed. A bunch of pencil necked journalists voting and individuals lobbying for this player or that player. The HOF is PR for the league. Stabler had to wait a long time because they didn't like his image. They could get away with it because he was borderline as far as stats and accomplishments.
The Raiders, in general, are overlooked because of image. Jack Tatum and George Atkinson should be in, but they were considered "dirty". If that was the case, nobody from the Steel Curtain should be in except for Jack Ham.
Also excluded are most of the AFL players unless they were on the Jets or the Chiefs or were there after the merger. Tom Sestak should be in. Butch Byrd who holds
Bills' career records for interceptions (40), interception return yards (666) and interceptions returned for touchdowns (5). even though he only played 7 years. Hell, he isn't even on the Bills' Wall Of Fame. Mike Stratton as well. The "AFL was an inferior league" BS still dogs it.
At the end of the day, fans want to see players that they are familiar with so old school guys that are long forgotten don't stand a chance, Now, it's all about TV ratings anyway.

Moonie I get why you think Gruden may get in..Because of image and persona he is liked by the media.. But it would be a joke if he did.. Dungys career winning percentage is higher than I thought it was after I looked it up.. Ive always thought coaches winning one super bowl isn't enough they need at least 2 but that line of thinking is wrong I suppose.. If they let Dungy in I think George Seifert should go in as well

Re: HOF Class of '16
I knew it would be tough with Favre a lock this year, but Kurt Warner better be elected next year. Any QB who could get St. Louis to 2 Super Bowls (even winning 1) and Arizona to a Super Bowl should be a slam dunk HOFer. That's 3 Super Bowls with teams that were horrible before he got there.
