Buffalo, NY (WGR 550) -- Ryan O’Reilly will miss today’s game with a lower body injury and it doesn’t sound good. Dan Bylsma said, “After he sees our doctors today I’ll have more of an update after the game.”

O’Reilly was limping in the room after the last game. Bylsma said, “You probably wouldn’t catch it if you watch the game again, it wasn’t a big play.”

Both Jeremy White and I are hearing that this is a long-term injury.

Oh good, he'll be back in plenty of time for the playoffs.

I'm sure the obsessive GMTM haters will find a way to make this about him ruining the integrity of the game and "tanking"

rather have it in a year where they are getting better. this was somewhat inevitable. he's been doing all the work and seemed exhausted as they approached the allstart game...once he gets another line of support and maturation of eichel and reinhart, I would think he won't be as susceptible to injury.
