    Scott Chandler released by Patriots

Meanwhile, Chandler had signed a two-year, $5.3 million contract with the Patriots on March 16, 2015 after spending the prior five seasons with theBuffalo Bills. The Patriots had visions of pairing Chandler (6-7, 260) with Rob Gronkowski (6-6, 265) in a two-tight-end set, practicing it extensively in spring practices and training camp, but it never came to fruition during the regular season.

Chandler was slowed by a knee injury and his release came with a failed physical designation.

Chandler, 30, finished the year with 23 catches for 259 yards and four touchdowns, slipping to the No. 3 spot on the depth chart behind Michael Williams.

Stone hands Chandler, back on the market. Let someone else sign him.

No interest. Clay/O'Leary with a blocking TE.

I have to admit when I'm wrong. I was surprised he sucked so bad. That first game against us was pretty funny where he dropped back to back passes.

I bet Chandler would have a career year in NE, Mace said he wouldn't. Loser sports a Patriot avatar for a month, was actually supposed to be January but the details of the outcome weren't researched until the beginning of last month.

I'm OK with the result, just gives me another reason to despise those ****ers in NE.

LOL. I honestly don't know what New England expected out of him but they got the guy that we cut for good reason.
