His play has fallen off over the last 2 years but most NFL experts think he is still a quality starter

This should give Incognito something to think about.

Imagine if we could have them both ??

Awesome

Cromartie rumored to visit, McKelvin cut.

I want to keep you Richie, but here's our contingency plan.

They must really like Evans because it sounds like they tried pretty hard to trade for him last year. I think after Bulaga, he was a top target for upgrading the OL. Maybe they're looking at re-signing Incognito and also adding Evans to start at RG. Miller definitely struggled at times last season so I don't think he's a lock to keep the starting role. There's a lot of inexperience/inconsistency on the right side of the line, so they might be looking for some vet stability.

I have no idea what kind of money Evans would command, but I could see them using free agency to shore up the OL and maybe add another WR, and then focus on defense in the draft.

Unless he can also fill in at center, they better be looking at somebody else too. We have zero depth if Wood goes down.

If they're bringing in a guy like Evans, I don't think it's to pair with Incognito. I think it's to replace him and pair him with Miller.

Looks like the Incognito era may be ending. i wonder what he is asking ?

At least they are addressing this. Evans is solid.

ooooo...Payton coming with him?

Maybe this is more of a "replace Urbik" kinda deal. At least that's what I'm hoping for.

LOL. Ah.... no. That's not it.

Not sure why people are still thinking he's 2014 Evans in 2016. Word from NO is that he's beaten up and slowing down. He won't replace Incognito.

Further, he's a right guard which no one seemed to notice, so that would mean moving Miller to left probably. Since neither of these guys had 16 game seasons last year, better have some backups handy.

If they go after anyone should be Alex Boone with Roman experience or just man up and go after Whitehair in the 1st round though it costs a precious pick with some mouthwatering D available.

Better yet. SIGN INCOGNITO.

The Bills were hoping the Saints cut him last year, iirc, so there's 'previous' interest.

Also, Kromer was his coach for 4 years in NO.

I think he's a viable alternative to Incognito, who, it must be said, is chasing $. (Note, I don't blame him for that, at all, this is his last payday).

The Kromer connection hopefully would allow Evans to be up to speed, quickly.

we do need depth at the position. if the market dictates he's old and washed up, that would only help the price

They need to do something quick or we can't even pay him vet minimum.

Why we don't value a guard, who if I'm not mistaken played every game and made the pro bowl. Yeah, lets cut that guy and sign a tight end for 90 million.

Hopefully, they're planning on signing incognito and Evans.

No way he's staying.

Hopefully, they're planning on signing incognito and Evans.

On the edge of FA opening, they can't afford to sign either unless they pass on drafting anyone this year.
