All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
i heard on the wnsa report that GW was the one who turned down the report because TD lowballed him? apparently he is chosing to roll the dice and get a big deal at the end of this year..
the reporter stated something like he was irritated today about it or something.. irritated by the questions? anyone got a scoop on this?

Under most circumstances I'd agree. Truth be told, I don't think Vince Lombardi could've won with the 2001 team. That was just an aweful situation to be in. Last year he did make some poor decisions but we also know that the players never quit on him and that the defense, with a huge lack of talent, kept improving. The guys a great defensive coach and a very good motivator. I think he's going to be good. I question Gilbride's calls much more than Williams'. As far as I'm concerned, the players not quitting and actually buying into his philosophy is HUGE. That says a lot right there. Now, if they go 8-8 this year with the talent on this team then I'd absolutely say he's gotta go. This is the first year he'll actually have a fair assessment.
I don't think he really outcoached anyone either. I just think that he has the intangibles and now it's a matter of learning from past mistakes. Hopefully he does that. Otherwise he falls into the great coordinators who weren't great head coaches category. A la Wade Phillips, Norv Turner, Pete Carroll etc.. Hey, it happens and somehow I don't think being an NFL coordinator is exactly a suck job! Let's just hope he succeeds.
