WGR550550...Pegula Sports and Entertainment negotiating contract with Fox Sports to televise Sabres games, MSG contract runs out at midnight on April 9th when NHL regular season ends, Sabres president Russ Brandon "Fox Sports is the second largest television provider to televise NHL games as almost all NHL teams are on Fox Sports only Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago and Pittsburgh televise on their own channels".

Bad info there. Flyers are on CSN as their owner also owns Comcast. The Caps are on CSN DC, so if that list were accurate, either Philly would need to be excluded or the Caps would need to be included.

And please tell me DetDanny is wrong again and Brandon didn't actually say that, because I'm really tired of working in a non-sports industry for a fraction of Brandon's salary yet still knowing more about sports than Brandon does.

Yeah that's not a direct quote. Russ Brandon may not know a lot about hockey, but he does know how to speak in complete sentences.

Yeah, he kinda got me- it was late in the day and I thought the April Fools jokes were over. He would have really gotten me if he took 10 seconds to do some research to find out which channels NHL teams broadcast on.
