not sure what the cost would be, but upgrade over what we have. It would help a big need as well

**** no. He's garbage.

The guy is a creep and he sucks. I'd rather be stuck with Duke Williams.

Nope. He's not an upgrade and that says something about him.

**** that POS Whitner. I think that says it all.

No. That ship sailed a long time ago.

You do realize how sad it is to go from the #4 defense in the league to 'Whitner is an upgrade' in a single season, right?

Not just no, but Hell no.

Hell no! Thankfully he's never played for the Jets so we shouldn't have to worry about it!

Nope never. He bad-mouthed everything Buffalo and he was never very good. That's just a terrible suggestion.

Umm. Because he is terrible? He was terrible in his prime when he was a Bill. Couldn't cover. Couldn't tackle.

The only way I would be in favor of bringing him back to Buffalo, would be, if it was to cane him in public.

Of all the free agents available this offseason, Donte Whitner is definitely one of them.

Didn't do anything here or anywhere else except run his mouth as Hitner. How exactly is he an upgrade?

Lol.

I forgot about Hitner. Classic stuff right there.

We could bring back Ko Simpson, too. He's worth millions.

Whitner is my least favorite Bills player in history. Sure, we've had tons of guys who sucked and tons of guys who never lived up to their draft status, but he was the only one who was consistently mediocre while consistently running his mouth. And he has a hard time staying out of trouble.

Ok, let's leave emotion out of it. The guy was a below average starter with us four or five years ago (and if you go back and look at my posts from back then, I consistently called him out for it- I'm not just hating on the guy because he left).

Our D took a big step backward last year. Of course we want to get it back where it was, but looking at other teams' trash and going "I've heard of that guy! He must be an upgrade!" is not the solution.

He doesn't upgrade anything. He's not better than Williams or Graham.

Come on, now. He's better than freaking Duke Williams. He's not worth what he was getting paid, though. He's a huge douche but be honest.

Wrong Williams, I meant Aaron the starting SS. I forgot Duke was even still on the roster.

Duh. Sorry. If he can come back to his pre-injury form, yes, definitely.

**** no

Bonafide top of the class Piece of **** guy

Oh and as a player he patented the lame ass tackle attempts.

Is he an upgrade over Duke Williams ?? Yeah, who isn't ? .... But Duke doens't start and he's not better than Graham and Aaron who do. Not to mention how detrimental he would be to the team.

**** Donte Whitner now and forever. Legend in his own mind and nothing more.

leaving the emotion out of it, he was washed up for 2 years on the bills. then he went to SF and rode the coattails of a team that performed well. then he was mostly useless on Cleveland. the guy can't cover the TE on 3rd down or the slot receiver since day 1. he's now 10 years older. add in his bravado with a coach who seem to be nothing but, and we have a recipe for disaster.

signing him will leave a huge hole in the team because they won't address is via draft and they'll be kidding themselves that he has a full season in the tank. he's not a solution.

in addition to all of this, all of the bad blood between whitner and the bills cannot be overcome.

the only time that would be possible would be the LeBron James example in Cleveland. But that's different because he was the greatest player of his generation and a hometown guy and Whitner sucks balls. So that was one mild difference.

Or they can have a boxing match for charity.

Or even a tag team handicap match with Rob.
