Is there such a thing anymore as a 'franchise' RB? If so, who do you think qualifies?

It's a dead concept. RB's have short shelf lives and are easy to replace. These guys go to a team and rip off 4-5 years of high output before their productivity declines. They move on to be a vet presence on another team and the original team drafts a replacement in the 3rd or 4th round.

not many Rb can play all 3 downs. their are a number of elite backs in this league, and bills have one. their is something to say about consistancy

Overall the league model is that 2-3 cheaper backs are better than 1, stay fresher, bring different styles. That avoids the stack the box defense. It's not predictable running plays.

Well, unless you have the previous Bills coaching staff that insists on using the scat back for running plays and the larger vet back for pass protection....
