He never mentioned the 1st overall pick - just the first round pick. He said nothing about this if they win the lottery.
Can you be accurate about anything?

TM would trade 8th overall if a good deal came around (such as a top tier PPQB) but doesn't expect it to happen

I want to see Patti vs. Danny in a thread posting war.
Who could post the most BS in a day? A week? Month? Year?

I'll just wait for the lottery. Speculation now is comical.

Patti is being greatly outdone by BillsImpossible lately

Murray would discuss trading the team's #1 pick. He doesn't think he can get that top-end quarterback for that pick alone, but says any trade for that pick would have to be special. He mentioned Brandon Saad (http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/132279/brandon-saad) last year as a guy who had to be traded because of his contract.

It would absolutely be reasonable to trade our 1st round pick for a proven commodity of that level but it would take a contract situation and some luck for that to happen. Likely ? Probably not but I wouldn't rule anything out and neither would Murray.

I wouldn't mind if he moved the pick, but the returning player would have to be a youngster. 23 or below
