Where the AV values came from:
Where it becomes clearly different from the classic value chart is at the very top and bottom of the draft... Teams overvalue the top picks and undervalue the later picks. But before we go down the path that trading down maximizes the value you can get from a draft we should remember that the value of the higher picks is still higher. It's maybe more a matter of what you want from a draft... a star or lot's of players.
