Percy Harvin calls it a career

NFL.com, along with other outlets, is reporting that Harvin is telling the Bills he's planning to retire. He's only 27.

Ian Rapoport notes that as late as a month ago, Harvin was planning on returning for next season.
John Hemingway(facing certain death): I want to see Buffalo win the Super Bowl.
David Coltrane(threatening John): Nobody's going to live that long, pal.

Well, I give him more credit for walking away at this point.

Good. B/C OBD was about to make yet another mistake and let this jerk come back.

In fairness maybe the guy just couldn't play at a level he wanted to play at. A lot of hate for a guy who didn't do anything wrong. He's not Willis McGahee.

I'm not sure if I'd call it that.

Finally. So tired of this story. Just go away.

              Not surprised.

                Nah

This dude's a POS. He probably didn't get the $$ he wanted so he called it quits. I'm convinced he would've come back to "play" a few games and then get "hurt" had the money been right.

In any case good news for us. That way the dynamic duo of FAIL that is Whaley and Rex won't be tempted to bring him back to continue stealing.

He was our best WR in September.

Damn shame he and Fits never played together here. In the month of September nobody would have been able to slow our offense down.

Bills stories always seem to border on the outskirts of relevance.

He should team up with Fitzpatrick then. He's the best QB in September.
