Why Doctson and not Coleman in this spot?

Thanks for having my back on the Reed pick Yardie, I'm returning the favor.

Why Doctson and not Coleman in this spot?

Personally, I think Doctson is a better fit with the Vikes (Coleman is more similar to Diggs and I think Doctson's red zone potential is a good fit with Bridgewater). But to turn this around, why Coleman?

Speed...the ability to take the top off of the defense and open things up underneath for Diggs.

I'm voting for Colemen, despite already being on the losing end.

I'm a little confused about Doctson over Coleman as well. Coleman is closer to what they thought they once had in Patterson.

William Jackson III as a protest pick. Terrence Newman is entering his 24th year in the league.

Both are spread offense wrs - aren't they all? Doctson has 3 years' worth of 1,000 pass yard seasons. I like his consistent production.

Yes, but not every WR in the spread does the same thing nor is every spread the same. Baylor's spread is more about getting a defense wide to go vertical, where as TCU's spread is more about getting a defense wide to create gaps in the middle and exploit them.

Don't get me wrong I think both players are going to be good NFL WR's, I just think from a skill set point of view Coleman is a better fit.

Fair enough. Doctson has 3 years' worth of good productivity, though.
