Evidently thought himself worthy of being the highest paid CB, Carolina thought not.

They have other contracts coming and he reportedly wanted between 16-18 Mil a year.
He cut himself.

Hope he gets shunned by the league.
Then his agent will cry collusion however.
When he should call his player stupid.
Diff positions, but reminds me of Jairus Byrd, and more currently, Fitz.

This has to be up there with one of the most up and down offseason in recent NFL memory.

Should have signed his tag. Now he is a FA after most teams have blown their loads. He'll still get paid, but Carolina stuck to their guns. Interesting.

Norman played in an almost exclusively zone defensive scheme. A shutdown corner he is not. 29 years old... he is.
In playing the cover 3 zone... he always had help from a safety up top... his recovery speed is meh. All an offense needs to do in a cover 3 is have your number 1 WR on the other side if you wish to avoid Norman. A Revis he is not.
I get from Carolina that they wish to spend huge in the trenches and at LB... That is their formula for a successful D.
Miami will chomp all over this guy. Book it.
