Dan Snyder strikes again. He's due to hit on one eventually, isn't he?

Like Taylor is more expensive because Texans threw money at Osweiler?

It's tough when one team throws stupid money at one player.

Norman is a 1st team AP All-Pro. Gilmore hasn't even made a Pro Bowl yet.

Well we'll see how well he plays removed from that defense now.

The Bills drafted Darby in the 2nd round last year.

I think Whaley will draft a cornerback again in round 2.

Gilmore's got to stay healthy this year. Do NOT! play him against the Redskins in the 3rd preseason game for the Love of God!

Have this funny feeling he's going to get hurt this year one way or another anyway.

Whatever CB we get just better have predator dreads, that's all I have to say about it.

He ups the price across the board for all starting CB's. No one was comparing him.

Maybe I should work on some predator dreads...how do they look in silver/gray?

Predator dreads...exactly what I call them, too.

Seriously.

With your flowing, luxurious locks, they'd be stunning.

Can we get a 5'7" CB that tackles like a LB? I haven't really liked any of our CBs since he left.

Nah, you're good. I picked up the term from you, so my mind has actually warped enough where I'm aping you.

If I were Gilmore's agent, this is what I would show to the Bills.

Games Played
Tackles
Passes Defensed
Interceptions
Forced Fumbles

Gilmore
53
178
50
9
4

Norman
53
181
37
7
4

I saw this online but I'm at work so I can't link to it. Also, comparing just last season because Norman came onto the scene last year:

Thrown at
Catches Allowed
Yards Allowed
TDs Allowed
Ints

Gilmore
90
50
666
5
3

Norman
108
55
513
3
4

I'm not trying to say one player is better than the other, I'm just saying that Gilmore's agent definitely is seeing dollar signs after what Norman got. Unless Gilmore has a terrible season, he's going to get paid handsomely. Either by us or another team.

As long as Washington doesn't ask Norman to become a straight up man corner, it's a good signing for them.

It's amazing that now good zone corners get paid this type of stupid money.

If it were any team other than Washington who had signed him to this deal, I would say there is no way they spend this much to put him into a position where he fails. But this is Washington...
