Does anyone know where I can crunch a GIF image? I use spinwave.com for my jpeg crunching, but their GIF crunching won't work for me. Anybody?

What do you mean, what am I talking about? If you go to spinwave you can crunch jpegs free, there's also an option to crunch large GIF files free, but it won't work. (maybe I need to purchase the program) but I'd rather do it for free :D
There has to be another FREE site that I don't know about?!

I think what she means is where can she go to make a picture smaller so she can post it on the board. I don't know how to shrink pictures either. The one of MJ I posted the other day took me forever to cut down and I did a crappy job. :( It would help if there was a program where we could put the picture and tell the comuter how big it has to be in order to fit the requirements to be posted on the board. Is there any such place or program? I could use it too. :)

I use paintshop pro to resize, edit, decrease color depth, etc of my avs and sigs.

I tried for an hour last night to make my picture fit. How does this shrinking work??

Can't you just copy and paste it from your avatar on the other site, MissB? It fits over there.

I was trying to use a new one, but I may go back to the original because it seems easier. It kept telling me that it needed to be 80 x 80, but it looked smaller than that to me.

Just save the image in MS Paint as a BMP file (if you have it). Then use the resize and crop functions.

Once again Jaded is right :D ...
a place to MAKE THE PICTURE SMALLER!!!
or to MAKE THE ANIMATION ie GIF SMALLER!!!!
I crop pictures etc. on my paint program, (although it's not paintshop pro) save as a jpeg, then upload them into www.spinwave.com and crunch them on (low). Of course, you don't have to do that if your pixels are 80x80 and the k-bs are under 5000. Check by right clicking the picture and click on properties.
But, animations that are over those amounts can be crunched too. Trouble is, when I upload a GIF (which looks like a jpeg by the way) to that site it won't crunch on low or anything. I guess I should ask where people crunch photo's, then I'll see if there's an option in that site for GIF's.

why don't you just upload it into paint and save it as a jpg, then crunch it? :D

Just go to http://www.irfanview.com and download that software. I used it on a gif the other day, I think.
