Wouldn't be surprised if the Oliers take Juolevi instead of Chychrun... if the Sabres don't end up with either defensemen(which is a crummy scenario) they will have decide on taking the 3rd best defensemen(Sergachyov) or a smallish Alexander Nylander

Leafs fans are justified now in thinking their tanking plans ended up just as effective as the Sabres did.. Marner is killing it in the OHL playoffs and now Auston Mathews the Marner/Mathews combo id say is about as even as the Eichel/Reinhart combo

Yeah the Leafs seem to have a good base as well. The two teams should be heading north soon. Still, the sabres will get an excellent prospect in june.

Some scout is claiming Eichel couldn't carry Matthews skates to the rink... The scout is from a Canadian team... Matthews was more dominant at the WJC his draft year than Eichel was at his WJC draft year... Time will tell if Eichel can lift the sabres organization the way McDavid will do for the Oilers and Matthews will do for the Leafs

I don't love the idea of Toronto getting a franchise player, but buffalo already has one, and reinhart probably isn't too far off, so I'm ok with this potential rivalry going forward.
