Bills to retire #78 at the home opener

    Bad things, man.
"'Clean up your room.', 'Stand up straight.', 'Pick up your feet.', 'Take it like a man.', 'Be nice to your sister.', 'Don't mix beer and wine, ever.'. Oh yeah, 'Don't drive on the railroad track.'"

"Eh, Phil. That's one I happen to agree with."

        Awesome, we should also retire 34, 83, 67, 56, and 61.

34? Jim Braxton would have loved to see the day his number was retired

Well deserved. Bruce was such a beast. I bet Marino still has nightmares.

I heard a rumor that Thurman's number will be retired next year. No idea if there's any truth to it or not.

                About time.

He was the best player on that 90s Bills team.

It's about time. He was too cool off the field as well. anyone remember this time he went down, hands in pockets, glaring with menace at the interviewer ?

Back at ye olde range, Lit made me an animated gif of this in reverse, looks like Smith rising from the dead to steal the interviewers soul. Still have the gif, made from a lower quality version. Still makes me howl.

Seriously though, it really is about time and I'm delighted.

The host should get a gig on a national news show. He is completely oblivious and just keeps in keeping on.

Love how he sort of wants to try and keep Smith from falling and reaches toward him without enthusiasm because he's stuck trying to figure out how to keep a guy that size from going down without grabbing his expensive suit or ticking Smith off anyway by laying hands upon him in fractions of a second. The look on Smiths face is so involuntarily malevolent as he's going down.

probably the only buffalo bill who it could be argued was the BEST EVER at his position without sounding like a homer. Which is amazing if you think about it.
My wife told me that if I had a dollar for every girl who found me unattractive, girls would find me VERY attractive.

Bruce is my all time favorite player. I still have a 78 jersey that I got in 1992. Half the letters are falling off the back, though.

34 Yes, 83 Yes. The rest nope sorry they were above average but not elite.

If we ever actually win a championship we're going to have to resort to letters after the numbers. Bruce deserves it though.
