From Lavoie at Rumblings. More slow time reading material. He sounds interesting. I remember Jokeman mentioning him.

In terms of raw athletic talent, Zimmer arguably stands above every other defensive lineman in this year's rookie class. Look at his results from the regional Combine (http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/profilexnews.php?pyid=129601&draftyear=2016&genpos=DE), where he had a 4.91-second 40-yard dash, 44 bench press reps, and a 7.09-second three-cone drill, among other workouts. That puts him right on par with a five-star prospect like Robert Nkemdiche, the difference being their collegiate experience. Zimmer is a shade over 6'2" and 300 pounds, with slightly short arms for a defensive tackle.

He has great measurables and feel could be a good DE. Yet my concern is think he played at 255 lbs in college and you always have to wonder if he can play bigger plus coming from a Division II program always have to wonder.

Ferris State's website said he weighed 292# last season. He was 302# for his Pro Day at Michigan and still destroyed the drills.

I'm waiting for just one of these type guys the Bills bring in that can actually play.

One - Terrence McGee was decent when he wasn't injured.

My bad two, Freddie.
Maybe Zimmer is three.

Huh? Terrence McGee was a 4th round pick.

and he was the best of the small school draft picks this team has wasted through the years.
