I know this will not come as a shock but EJ has regressed this summer, the coaches aren't happy. I was told, his time is short and there's no real reason to pretend it's going to better. IMO- They plan on tossing him to the curb, so flame away on whoever is left.

I don't buy it, unless we sign a capable replacement. Going into the season with Cardale backing up Tyrod is a nightmare waiting to happen.

I really wish OBD had drafted Hogan, he knows Romans system as it has largely remained in place at Stanford. Many felt he was the most pro ready QB.

the bills are all in on what they've built. that is their words. all in. so that means that if they aren't successful, there is nothing left to bank on. so go all in on TT and leave no back up. EJ or whoever else you can find, you aren't going to get a winner at this point. Cardale is too raw and we've already ruined a number of raw qbs by pushing them before they were ready.

I don't want a $6MM fitz(and I know that's completely absurd) and I don't want rex getting hot on some random back up if tt goes down. they are all in, if they succeed, they should get the credit. if they don't, it should be a full rebuild from top down (inclusive and most importantly without R. Brandon)

Even though you tip-toed around his capabilities.

There may be at least one better option around. I'm a still a Nick Foles fan.

But because of Manuel's guaranteed salary this season, it doesn't make sense not to have him on the roster.

Indeed - they would have to ink someone first. And IMO, whatever folks may think about Manuel, he'd be snapped up if cut. BUF would work a trade and some sort of $ relief before an outright cut.
