Ive been seeing some twitter buzz about zemgus mulling over a deal that would have him playing in the KHL. I'll try to find some news if this is legit. Could be nothing

Zemgus not liking it in Buffalo likely means he is unhappy with his reduced role and not being the No.1 centre like he was during the 2014-2015 season..

Well if he doesn't like his reduced role, he should have played better. We were by far the worst team in the league in 14-15 and we improved dramatically in 15-16 when the team added talent to play in front of him.

And usually it's the Russian guys who occasionally bolt for the KHL, but if they're offering better money and an increased role, from his standpoint I can see why he'd take it.

Still I hate it when this stuff happens. Girgs strikes me as a good third liner who can step up to 2nd in a pinch. He's not a superstar but he's a role player and every team needs those. It'd be nice if we could keep him.

Some were suggesting the sabres soured on zem too. Hence why he's been a piece in so many rumors lately

If they have soured on him and are going to deal him so be it... But they are trading him from a position of weakness his trade value is lower now than it was a year ago

Zem shot down the KHLs insiders story down. However, word is this insider isn't one to make up rumors and has an excellent track record.
