#1 Overall pick just 8 seasons ago. Long injury history. Says he's healthy. Risk vs. reward. Would he fit on the Bills roster?

Jake Long is still unemployed but “finally healthy” (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/06/18/jake-long-is-still-unemployed-but-finally-healthy/)

But he’s looking to get back in, and Long insists that the injury problems that plagued him are now gone.

“I’m finally healthy (http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/16310834/former-no-1-overall-pick-jake-long-says-healthy),” Long said Saturday, via Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com. “This is the healthiest and best I’ve felt in probably about five, six years. My knee’s back. I’ve just been working out, feeling good and ready for the opportunity when it comes along.”

Why not give an audience?

Lord knows we need a starting RT and could use the depth.

I'd be fine with it but he's not going to want to be an RT, he's going to want LT and the appropriate money for it. Right or wrong, probably wrong, I don't see Whaley cutting bait on his two draftees or position "saving" Mills.

as many guys the Bills have been bringing in and releasing he should be inked pretty soon'

I'd bring him in, but he could be a Harvin-type signing. Don't trust his knee at all, but if he'd come in cheap it's worth the risk.

Took a gamble on Icognito and it paid off.

I would. When healthy the guy can play.
