His trade value is sinking like a stone... Who cares... The Sabres gambled on him and Kane is proving them wrong... Cut bait sooner rather than later and admit you made a mistake

Cut bait? For what? It's a police report. No charges were filed.

Problem with kane is he doesn't seem to grow up. There's an entitlement complex. Heck of a player, but ****ty off ice attitude.

But the sexual assault thing turned out to be bogus.

BUFFALO, NY - 2 On Your Side Investigative Reporter Steve Brown has learned that Buffalo Sabres forward Evander Kane has been named in preliminary police reports connected to an altercation that took place Thursday night or early Friday morning at the Bottoms Up nightclub on Chippewa Street in Downtown Buffalo.
Sources tell Brown that Kane has not been charged and there are no reports of any arrests connected to the incident in question.
The Associated Press reports Kane physically harassed two women at the bar. A person familiar with the situation tells the AP Kane grabbed a woman by the arm or shoulder.
Kane's attorney, Paul Cambria, tells us Kane "did nothing wrong."

I saw him hit more pipes last year than a plumber.

If a team received 1/2 a point for a crossbar, the Sabres would have won a lot more games last year.

I'm glad the Sabres are standing by their player, however, It seems to me that the recklessness he displays on the ice is spilling over into his personal life.

Kane can no longer be bought out. Either he is traded, or he's a sabre

If he violated player conduct, then what ??

They must be keeping him. No one wants his baggage so his value is low. The only way they might be able to move him for something reasonable is if they find a trade partner that got raped in FA, and the only one that comes immediately to mind is St. Louis.

Agreed. He had a bar incident in Vancouver while on the road with the Jets. This makes 3 investigations. 3 times is a pattern.

Can't blame Murray for wondering about him but he's worthless as trade bait now. Let the latest play out. Tell him he's cut if he makes 1 more mistake.

The guy has talent but he needs a shrink... or to shrink...on several levels.

I hope that he realizes he dodged a bullet and cleans up his act.

I worry that these repeated incidents with no serious consequences will make him think that he get away with doing whatever he wants.

Very well psychoanalyzed...... And unfortunately I feel your worries will come true... precisely why OJ Simpson got to the point he did... The LAPD never really took Nicoles 911 calls that seriously and OJ wasn't really punished for them...

His counterpart, Buffalo born Patrick Kane, has taken much the same path... Yet he's survived with the Blackhawks. Let's hope, for the sake of the Sabres, that this follows the same pattern.

Karma is a ***** what goes around comes around...Kane crashes into the end boards injured himself, he's getting exactly of what he deserves of what he did to those poor woman this summer dragging them out of the bar by their hair and forcing them into his car.

Ennis missed most of last season cuz of Ovechkin's cheap shot. Ennis has never been in trouble on or off the ice. So was that karma too?

Don't forget Eichel the other day.

He must have some something ****ty too.

And us. We're Buffalo sports fans.

I am assuming you have done some terrible things in the past. Those poor boys. You probably didn't even give them the candy you "promised"

BUFFALO, NY-- Buffalo Sabres forward Evander Kane was issued an adjournment in contemplation of dismissal of trespassing and harassment charges.
However, acting DA Michael Flaherty says the charges against Kane are still pending, so if Kane gets into any trouble with the law in the next six months he could end right back here in court.
